Do you have the daylily Frans Hal? It is a bright orange bitone. Bitone refers to a bloom having tepals that are a different tint (shade) of the same basic color. For Frans Hal, the petals (inner segments) are a darker orange than the sepals (outer) segments. Frans Hal is a late season bloomer, currently in bloom here in central North Carolina.
