Fertilizing
Hello All,
What a beautiful day here at Oakville Farm. The wind is blowing in the threat of a thunderstorm. The past weekend we fertilized the daylilies. We use a 10-10-10 fertilizer and distribute it through the hopper on the Farm All 140. Sure does save "the back" from the days when we threw it by hand. Anyone remember those days?
Thanks for visiting our blog and remember to check out the entire website.

How much rain did you get from the storm system? THankfully, we all were spared damage from winds, etc.......are your lilies
poking leaves out of the soil yet?
Hi Phyl,
We received about 1 1/2" of rain. Had some water standing in between rows this morning. The plants are soaking it all in and gearing up for springtime growth.
We like to watch plant growth, a sure sign of spring...on to summer.
