In seed-time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy. ~William Blake

And although autumn is almost over for 2014, we look back at all it has given...coolish weather, colorful leaves, rest from plentiful gardens, back to school with leaf and rock collections (remember those?), last season of hay cuttings and preparation for winter.  A calmness after a very busy and productive summer season.

And how do you find this time of year?  I am waiting for seed/plant catalogs to arrive so I can begin "ooo"ing and "awwwwww"ing.  Making a wish list and a to-do list.  All the fun.  :)

Oakville Daylily Farm has "big bloomers", ie daylilies, for your pleasure.  Daylilies make a great perennial for your garden/yard....colorful, tall/short, drought tolerant, pest resistant.  Just a pure joy.  Check them out and see what suits your needs.

Hope you have a good day and until next time, Happy Gardening.
