"Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."
- Barbara Winkler
And our winter brought us Snow, yes we had snow ..... which began falling yesterday evening, ending sometime during the night.
At 530 AM as I looked out the window with the flashlight glistening on the snow, there was about two inches. Then by this photo time, snow was melting. Ground temp is warming.
Here are the daylilies, blanketed with a light dusting of snow. Patiently awaiting the spring sun to warm the earth. Then shooting forth from the soil to bring smiles to everyone.
Hope you have a good day and until next time, Happy Gardening.
