Hello All,
Have been busy since last blog:
sold nine goats on Wednesday
took our 1987 Galaxy inboard/outboard boat out on the Roanoke River on Thursday
sold daylilies today in between weeding and spraying for weeds
and now we await our weekend guests....
My sister and her family are coming up for a weekend visit. They have a family function to attend on Saturday, while Sherman and I are tending to daylilies! Will be deadheading and weeding. Horse nettle is such an invasive weed...also prickly! With gloves on and buckets for weeds, "A weedin' we will go".
More daylilies are blooming....
Paper Butterfly
large bloom, rebloomer, peach/violet blend color
Happy Returns
small bloom, yellow
Jeune Tom
small bloom, rebloomer, light red
Until next time. Happy Gardening....
PS.....Just went outside and as the forecasters are saying, a cold front is approaching. Maybe you can see in these two photos what is happening. Oh I am so fascinated with weather photos.
Looking southeast, ahead of the front
Looking northwest, approaching cold front
