Rain...

Yeah, we are having a little rain falling this morning. Much needed. Although there is a bit of moisture in the ground, further down, it is dry. That was evident yesterday when digging up daylilies. And after discing between rows to get those little weeds, some areas were more dry than others. That always fascinates me, good/well draining soil in one area and in the same yard/area, poor draining soil. That will be a job for this fall after daylily season....digging up/moving/aerating/replanting...getting daylilies ready to rest for winter.

When looking out this morning, saw many more Stella de Oro's blooming.

Hope folks in Zone 7 and higher are seeing many scapes and some blooms. Please let us know what you have blooming.

Until next time. Happy Gardening
