June 10...

Good Morning,

Can you believe that it is the second week of June? Where does the time go?

Many places in central North Carolina experienced too much rain yesterday afternoon and last night. We were one of the fortunate ones...a nice quick shower. And after inspecting the daylilies this morning......the open blooms had nice raindrops laying so peacefully on them. With overcast skies and the rain, daylilies, grasses, tree leaves and alike were so beautiful. The early morning is a great time to be outside enjoying all the beauty that nature has to offer.

This new bloomer for today is one of my favorites. Although it is not a rebloomer, I really like the bicolor. Bicolor refers to the sepals and petals as being totally different in color. Petals are the inner segments and sepals are the outer segments on the bloom.
