Wednesday ..

"He who plants a garden plants happiness" ~Proverb

Even in these dog days of summer, daylilies bring a smile to your face and a warmness to your heart. Daylilies continue to bring pleasure to my life, yours? Each day, a spent bloom closes and a new bud opens. Bringing a newness, freshness to ones self.

Do you have the daylily Frans Hal? It is a bright orange bitone. Bitone refers to a bloom having tepals that are a different tint (shade) of the same basic color. For Frans Hal, the petals (inner segments) are a darker orange than the sepals (outer) segments. Frans Hal is a late season bloomer, currently in bloom here in central North Carolina. We offer this pretty daylily for a mere $5.00 per double fan.

Time for the morning "walkabout". Hope you have a good day. Until next time, Happy Gardening.
